The seacoast towns of Kittery, Maine and Portsmouth New, Hampshire are conveniently located for the wedding venue at Kittery Point, roughly 10 - 20 minutes drive.
Kittery Foreside, where Lauren’s parents live, has a quaint and trendy centre with a handful of great places to eat and drink. Portsmouth has a more bustling city feel, with plenty of places to stay and more to explore on foot.
We would recommend staying in Portsmouth for it’s accessible amenities and it’s historical atmosphere. We have complied a list of hotels and inns in Portsmouth below, not forgetting that both Kittery and Portsmouth have great locations to rent via Airbnb and VRBO.

Renting a vehicle
There is an Enterprise car rental located in Portsmouth.
If traveling straight from the airport to Portsmouth or Kittery renting vehicles locally can prove more straight forward then renting from Boston Logan Airport.
